Well, the madness has officially started. The metro's are getting jammed up, the streets are harder to navigate, and someone thought it would be a great idea to keep the bars open 'til 4am. News reports have anticipated anywhere from 1 to 3 million people coming to the city between now and Tuesday. It's pretty easy to see the preparations taking effect; more security, decorations going up, tents being erected, etc. I've been able to see some Culver grads who are coming to the city to watch the Black Horse Troop ride in its 15th inaugural. The picture above is from the last inaugural.
Tonight, I am off to Annapolis for the Capitol City Culver Club's reception - hosting all of the cadets and equestriennes. Stay tuned for more photos!
